Dr Yam Ka Wai

I was devastated by the departure of my Dr. of 20 years and did not immediately seek an appointment with Dr. Yam. But I should have met her before making that judgement because she is friendly. listens and takes the time to explain thoroughly her diagnosis. She mixes traditional medicine with examples of 'old school' remedies. I think she is a fabulous family Dr. Will miss her on her maternity leave....

Dr. Yam is one of the best doctors I have ever dealt with. She is thorough, personable and very knowledgeable.

Dr.Yam is very thorough and provides the time and care required of a caring family physician. My wife and I researched extensively before picking our family physician after our move to Vancouver from Toronto. She is very knowledgeable and always accommodating. We never feel rushed and are always satisfied with her patient care, diagnoses, and treatment. Dr.Yam really takes the time to explain and make sure we understand her treatment plan. She is a beautiful person inside and out we couldn't have made a better choice for our family's health care needs.

As is the case with the comment below, Dr. Yam took over from my wife & my long time physician over two years ago. We are very pleased that this transition has gone so well - Dr. Yam is a, excellent doctor.

Dr Yam took over my trusted physicians practice a few years ago. I had no idea what to expect and I was skeptical. Dr Yam has turned out to be positively wonderful. She is thoughtful and caring, very personable and cheerful. All my concerns have been put to rest. She takes care of myself and my husband. We are both more than pleased that she has inherited us!
